The Durham Region International Black Diversity Film Festival (DRIBDFF) is a non-profit cultural initiative dedicated to celebrating the richness of diverse voices in film and storytelling. Founded by the Toronto GTA Film Guild in collaboration with passionate filmmakers and local film students from the Trebas Institute, DRIBDFF was created to provide a platform for underrepresented storytellers and amplify multicultural narratives.
Every year, we bring filmmakers, audiences, and communities together to experience powerful stories that challenge perspectives, celebrate culture, and inspire change. From red-carpet premieres to intimate panel discussions, DRIBDFF is a platform where creativity meets community
At DRIBDFF, film is more than entertainment, it’s a tool for storytelling, empowerment, and transformation.
Join us as we celebrate diversity, empower voices, and showcase the power of cinema to unite us all.
